Im a bit of a beginning skateboarder, and i have a question, whats the difference between a tre flip and a variable?

I broke my tibia and fibia doing this down some stairs 4 years ago I haven't really picked up a board since then I tried skating again here and there but my ankle hurts to much to try to do any trick now a days , plus I never got surgery for my injury and they wanted to put a few metal plates in my ankle but I decided against it but almost 5 years later I should've gotten the surgery I think was 20 at the time now I'm 24

When i do them i almost cross my knees. I found it makes ensuring the tail actually pops of the ground and acts like a spring for my jump. I think i saw tyshawn jones do em like that and its helped me a ton

I really need help ! I can do everything perfectly, but there is one problem my front foot won't get above the board idk why pls help me

When I skated I pushed mongo because if my foot was on the back and I hit a pebble then the front would pop up just a bit avoiding wiping out. I think it’s stupid to even care how people prefer to push a skateboard in the first place

Jumping forward onto your board was probably the hardest part to learn

I can do 360 shovit but the kicklfip part of this trick only works partially for me. I often land on the skateboard’s bottom side or worst primo. Which part if this trick would be responsible for the kickflip bit? Is it the scoop or pop or both?

Dude I’ve been able to kick flip for a month now and then I realized I’ve been doing heel flips this whole time. I literally learned heel flips by accident and I can’t for the life of me do a kick flip. So weird

When I kick flip it ends up being a hardflip 🤷‍♂️

It is indeed all in the scoop. PRod is the legit expert in tre tutorials and it is no joke all in the scoop, with a little tap. Little or hard flicks won't mean anything unless that timing in that scoop is there.

Good trick tip but that front foot can be placed about an inch from the front bolts give or take a little bit and 3/4 of your heel hanging off .
